Despite being a luxury home, this residence demonstrates restraint with regard to the mass. A primary driver for the home was for its aesthetic to remain timeless with lasting appeal within the context of its surrounds.
Over three levels with basement, the brief included multiple living spaces, gym/theatre, tennis court, swimming pool with spa, and a garage for several vehicles. The principal living areas take advantage of the layered gardens and a northerly aspect. Sustainability is enhanced via solar harvesting and passive design principles.
The result is an elegant, understated contemporary home that feels luxurious without being ostentatious.
